South Wales Police said officers were called to Pentyrch Street in Cathays on the evening of Monday 22 December following reports of an assault, ITV News Wales reported. According to the force, the victim, named as Colm Marcus Boston from the Heath area of Cardiff, was taken to the University Hospital of Wales where he died four days later.
